Description

Travelling in certain areas are still found difficult and done by the means of early methods. Rafts such as given in the painting are still used for crossing rivers where bridges are still unconstructed. Either moving backward with the reaction made by pushing with a long bamboo pole or pulling a rope hard that is tied to the opposite banks of the river make the raft float with passengers.
