Vesak was my favourite time of the year in Ceylon. As a child, a visit to the temple at desk with the moon rising on the horizon and the dimly lit colourful lanterns filled my heart with joy and serenity. This painting captures that feeling in me 40 years later! Thanks Sarath, I can almost smell the sweet perfume of the flowers on offer.

Everything you describe bound with your boyhood 40 years ago reveals how nicely a person could be grateful to the place he lived in. Feel happy about that quality and Thank you a lot for all the comments which encouraged me.
